nollyFound a not too insane rate finally, from Triangle Rent a Car Their weekend rate is about the same as the daily rate from the national chains. So I can get where I want to be without having to bum rides this time around.
And the number of states I've driven in alone (not accompanied and on a learner's permit) will go up to 3.
(CA and AZ so far; I've drven in NC, but only on a permit.)
