long walk on a moonlit beach

After doing mostly nothing most of today (the usual online stuff, watched Bridget Jones' Diary), I headed out to pick up the yarn for the plan B Mother's Day project (plan A was taking too long and is now scheduled for a Christmas present), then up to the Conjecture chairs' house to pick up stuff I left there after the last staff meeting. I considered skipping the Darkstar dinner in favor of Trader Joe's, since I'm almost out of Luna bars, but I'm glad I went. As the crowd was starting to disperse after, someone suggested a walk on the beach. 10 of us headed over to Torrey Pines, which is a wonderful beach for walking on. Tide was fairly high, moon was bright, and much fun was had.
