I love Splash Mountain, but for pure kitsch, you can't beat the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Don't miss Pirates, don't miss Space Mountain, don't miss the Teacups or Small World (cheesy, but essential to the Disneyland Experience). Try to visit New Orleans Square and Tom Sawyer's Island. Make a stop in Tomorrowland just to see it.

BTW, Disneyland will be open 8 am to Midnight on Monday. We should talk soon re: logistics. Will you be at Darkstar tonight?

LOVE THE TIKI ROOM! I have very fond memories of the Tiki Room from when I was a kid... although the last time I was there, there were signs up saying that the Tiki Room was being (or was about to be) renovated. I'll have to go to see how they've changed it.

Oh yeah, need to give you my cell phone. As much as I'd like to be there at 8am for opening, I suspect we'll be more like 9am or so.

I'm aiming for early afternoon Friday, but I'm not rushing, and I want to do a few things in town before I hit the road.

8 AM is right out for me after a con -- I was thinking 10, actually, but could be persuaded earlier. (I want to have fun, not be so tired and hurried I don't enjoy the park.)
