Also, because attaching a new monitor to my linux box at work has so far been a three-work-day-and-counting ordeal, I occasionally go offline for an indeterminate amount of time while we try something else. How long I'm offline depends on whether the computer decides to boot after or not.

Is Frank the goat in mourning, getting married, or just wearing a suit and topper for fun?

I gather you've got the Frank module in "My LJ" set to Seasonal, the way I do. Near as I can figure, that's his Scrooge costume...though why he isn't wearing his ghost sheet right now, I couldn't tell you.
