Another Forry update

nollyI went to visit Forry Sunday afternoon, at least partly in my capacity as
LASFS Scribe, to drop off a card that had been signed by those attending
the meeting at which his hospitalization had been announced.
At the time of the visit, he was lucid, and we had a nice chat. He was
aware at the time that he had suffered a hallucination while he was dealing
with an infection. He had a very vivid dream in which his roommate had
been killed, and it took a call from his roommate to prove that "reports of
his death had been greatly exaggerated".
He indicated that he's looking forward to resuming his Saturday open
houses.
As I took my leave, we shook hands. His grip was firm and steady.
