Many of you are likely familiar with They're Made Out of Meat by Terry Bisson. (If not, go read it!) But did you know it's been set to music? (And, apparently, made into at least one short film, based on the google hits when I was looking for the story's page, but I haven't watched that yet.)

I … had not encountered that before. (The preview bit doesn't indicate whether they actually include the story or just repeat "they're made out of meat" for fourteen minutes, but I assume the story's in there somewhere…)

The short film was at the SIFF SFSFF a few years back. I saw a puppet production of it at about the same time. Some sort of Terry Bisson synchronicity.

Is that online somewhere? This is the only one I've heard; based on prior comments, the preview snippets does not give an accurate impression of the piece; the excerpt on a recent StarShipSofa episode was more accurate.
