more good news/bad news
Apr. 4th, 2002 05:02 pm- Good news:
- Because the customer wants me on site rather than at the subcontractors's office, we're now talking my salary from 2 years ago rather than 4. It's still about a $7K cut from my final salary at Gateway, and about $10K under what I've been listing as a minimum. (And that number has generally been well received; even on this, the subcontractor, who would be my actual employer, thinks it's a very reasonable amount.)
- 3 weeks PTO plus 11 holidays plus 2 floating holidays
- 9/80 schedule; if the off Fridays hit con weekends, it'd save me some PTO
- Bad news:
- "Some people come in pretty late, like 7:30 AM..."
- Lots of paperwork and process
We'll see if they make an offer -- and if anyone else does.
