Weekend Update

Friday after work, I went over to meowse's for hiking and food and talking and such. Twas good.

Saturday, I was pleasantly surpised to not be sore from the hike. Went to my usual yoga class, then had my usual scone and coffee, and visited my usual used bookstore. I had $11.90 in my pocket; the bookstore is my last stop before I get my "allowance" for the next week. Some weeks, I don't find anything I want that's within my remaining budget. This week, I scored.

I only met him at the most recent Baycon. Given that he currently lives a mere 30 miles or so from me, it's amusing that we met several hundred miles away. We're not sure how we managed not to meet sooner, given the amount of overlap in our social circles, and the fact that we'd been in the same place, at the same time on several prior occasions. Small world, and getting smaller, I think.
