I'm thinking that my costume this year will be Cathy from the comics strip. Easy, comfortable. I've got approximately the right body type and hair style. I can use a plush dog for Electra. Scary, no?
But yeah, scary -- I remember a Zippy strip describing Cathy Guisewite's drawing style as something along the lines of "it looks like she throws spaghetti on the floor and xeroxes it".
Cathy's mother is a) a highly annoying character and b) a much higher effort costume. Furthermore, I will probably be attending what Halloween party or parties solo.
I'm going to work on Hallowe'en as Milton. I even have a red Swingline stapler. It doesn't bind at all. I need to quit shaving the 'stash and quit washing my face so it breaks out.
