fire update

nollyStill at home. So far, Clairemont isn't threatened, though it's still possible. There was a report of some fire on the west side of 805, but the last I heard was that they were under control. The light outside has been orange all day; it's really freaky. There's a lot of ash and smoke. I have gas in the truck and it's mostly loaded with the things I"ll be taking if we have to evacuate. Please keep us all in your prayers.

Date: 2003-10-26 04:35 pm (UTC)I filled our pickup truck with stuff back for the Oakland fire, too. My ex thought I was being silly. But when the helicopters flew over yelling "evacuate now!" I was ready.
