nollyHaving done the crush meme, I feel I should elaborate on what I mean by crush.
Mainly, what it means is two things:
(a) I want to know more -- something about you has piqued my interest.
(b) the possibility of a relationship has not been ruled out.
(a) could be due to any number of factors -- you write well, you're the right sort of eye candy, pretty much anything.
(b) is, in large part, relative to how long I've known you and how well I know you. The longer I know someone, the greater the chance that a fundamental incompatibility will be discovered. Immediate incompatibilities, relationship-wise, would be 1) you aren't a guy (I'm straight) 2) you don't date women 3) you're monogamously involved. (b) does not mean I think a relationship is likely, or even that I would definitely want to pursue one, only that I don't know enough yet to have ruled out the possibility.
So, if you meet both (a) and (b), and I didn't zone out while looking over the list and neglect to mark you, you're on my list. Most of you who are would not be terribly surprised, particularly given the somewhat low-intensity definition I'm using. So, frankly, I don't care if the data is confidential or not.
