spy.net is finally back from the dead, now that I've switched practically everything over to mib.

That is pretty amazing considering the last I knew of the box it was sitting in the basement of someone I knows house collecting dust.

Dunno which box you're referring to, but I've been using my spy.net account since 1996, barring the occasional outage. It's usually stable, but when it's down, it's out for the count -- 2 weeks or so this time. Only place my home page has ever been based, though there's content on other servers now.

The box running spy.net. Neal, the owner of spy.net, moved to Austalia and left the box with Dave Lacey.

Technically, that would be the box running east.spy.net, then. But "collecting dust", to me, suggests a state of idleness which is not and has not been the case.

Neal's the one who gave me my account in the first place; I know he moved to AU.
