I don't really know you well enough to bio you, but if you check out my userinfo page you'll see what I've used for the last few years in every program book.
Hmmm... What involvement have you had in anime fandom? Besides attending a few of my parties where I showed anime. You could just do a fannish bio.
Here's my bio, which is rather anime-related.
Todd has been involved in anime fandom since 1985 and sometimes admits to
being introduced to anime through something called "Robotech." He has been
involved in newsletters, anime viewing clubs, parody fan dubs, anime room
parties, digital fansubs, and anime music videos. He has taken three years
of Japanese language classes, and continues to self-study. He was once
known for driving a 1980 Honda Accord sporting pictures of anime characters.
"Born at an early age in a log cabin she helped her father to build, Cathy began her life as the only well-adjusted child in a houseful of rabid weasels... NO WAIT, loving family that occasionally had a peeved badger once in a while."
Hi. My name is Menolly. I live in Oregon. I was wondering if you could tell me how you came about having the name Menolly. I thought I was the only person in the world with that name. At least, that's what it felt like. My mother named me out of an Anne McCaffery book. I was just curious to learn more about how you received such a different name. -menolly
Self-selected, same source. Started using it online back around '92, and it stuck. My legal name is fairly common (Cathy), so a lot of my friend call me Menolly or Nolly. You're the first one I've met who was actually named Menolly!
I want to know how your mom taught you to pronounce it -- is it Menolly like a transposed version of Melanie, or is it like a longer version of Molly (like Mentally without the 't'), or... what?
