That was the main thing, because it's a pattern of behavior -- everytime I've seen someone ask if they may make icons from his art, he says yes. While he's not the only creator who does that, many dont, and I'm glad he does. He also writes an interesting journal, does good art for fun games, writes entertaining comics, and just seems like an all-around nice guy, though I've never met him.
