Homeward bound
Nov. 20th, 2006 05:29 pmMade it on a 3:07pm out of Vegas on standby; I'm now booked on a 7:15 PM out of Phoenix -- which puts me home around 7:30, IIRC, with the time zone change.
Thanks to the extensive shops of the Vegas airport, I'm not stuck in yesterdays clothes, although the next time I buy men's pants/shorts, I'm going with my first instinct on size; these are a bit loose. (I was afraid the smaller ones would be too tight through the hips.) But a scarf-belt makes it work, and the damage was less than my hotel room last night -- which was one of the cheapest rooms I've stayed in in a good while, even though it was a nice hotel. I love free airport wifi!
