The article was cute but for the love of your sanity, don't try to read the comments. I got like four in and was angry enough to stop. (Illegal immigrants are DESTROYING THE COUNTRY!!!, never mind what country that part of the country was in until annexed after a policy of anglo immigration...or going back farther, which tribe *exactly* are you from, whitey?)
I had the same reaction! The article left me with big tears in my eyes, and I expected to read the comments and see a lot of "Awwww," but boy did I get a shock. I was floored.
I'm so glad they did something to honor her, although I don't think anything would really be enough.
