OK, stupid question. Rather, competent user/neo install/config question.
New job. Setting up my desktop. Debugging the install doc, which began life
as a live-machine install script. Redhat 7.2. Document said "skip the x config". I did, then discovered it never goes back to that, and I need X. I've got it installed, I think, but not configured/running. Booting off the install CD and selecting upgrade only lets me install packages, which I've done. What do I need to do to make X go?

If I've omitted any relevant info, let me know; it's been many, many years since
I did a Linux install -- or anything else not from MS.

Normally you run "kudzu" to find new devices, but if IT installed something that a little odd, who knows if it could be found.

Kudzu doesn't do/show anything; given the generally transparent nature of KVM switches, I'd be surprised if it did.
