My cell phone is messed up. It's producing far more heat than is normal and won't hold a signal for more than a second or two. Off to the service center after work...hope I don't have to replace the thing, because that's an expense I don't want right now, not to mention having to transfer the numbers.

If you're not using a pre-paid phone, you might be able to get a new phone just by extending your current contract, for next to no additional $$$. You will have to re-enter your stored #'s, but they should be able to give you the same cell-phone #...
