The 3M nonstick bandage is stuck to the scrape on my knee.
I think this is not good.

Have to understand....

The secret ingrediant that makes all adhesive work is human skin. The more skin it's in contact with, the better it works and the stronger it is. At certain levels, it will actually try to fuse with the skin.

How else does one explain that super glue will stick to skin better than anything else? :-)

It's not the adhesive that's the issue. It's the lack of skin. I had what appeared to be an allergic reaction to the fabric bandaids (though they don't cause a problem on my arm) so I switched ti the higher-tech version of gauze pd andfirst aid tape. Except, unlike gauze, these are not supposed to stick to the wound. Only, they are. It's not scabbing over like I expect scrapes to.

Oh dear. Non-stick pads lie. Do you have seepage from the scrape? If so, that may be causing it to stick. You might try putting a thin layer of antibiotic ointment over the scrape before the pad. Also, try soaking the pad off if it sticks.
