Describing the curent status of my next big project:
"Neelix's lungs have been removed; now we just have to generate the hologram to replace them. Or, if you prefer your Trek old-school, Spock's brain has been removed; we just have to build the machine to replaace it."

So, to translate, does this mean you're adding a new machine with an entirely new build to the network, or something else entirely?

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
That's the first episode I remember seeing. Not the first episode I saw, I'm very certain of that, but the first episode that I remember distinctly and can name the title of.
It was on the local Independent station (remember those? It later became a Fox affiliate) right before their premiere of TNG's _Encounter at Farpoint_. The first time. I'd been watching Trek for years before then, but not religiously, just whenever it was on.

Of course, I still would have had a Season Pass for Trek in those days, if TiVo had been around.
