Date: 2002-08-01 08:57 pm (UTC)That's the first episode I remember seeing. Not the first episode I saw, I'm very certain of that, but the first episode that I remember distinctly and can name the title of.
It was on the local Independent station (remember those? It later became a Fox affiliate) right before their premiere of TNG's _Encounter at Farpoint_. The first time. I'd been watching Trek for years before then, but not religiously, just whenever it was on.
Of course, I still would have had a Season Pass for Trek in those days, if TiVo had been around.
