That is, I have heard, a not-uncommon way to prepare hot dogs for kids in Japan. Also, in The Tick #7, I believe (a comic book), Arthur cuts The Tick's hot dogs to look that way.

I think it's adorable, personally. It's the little mustard faces. But I'm a disturbed individual.

I think it's the green noodles that put it over the line for me.

Heh. You should have seen the dish that Icepick and Snorklet (from HellBBS) made for me at my house warming party a couple years ago. It was from the Hotdog Cookbook: hot dogs in aspic. For those of you who don't know, aspic is the fancy name for gelatin, or "meat jell-o". They made it in a jell-o mold. Put hardboiled eggs and little chunks of celery. Around the outside were carved carrots. Very 1950's chic. And nasty! I am the only one who ate any of it. It glistened! Alas, no pictures. We also had Easy-Cheez canapes, too. Good times!

*laugh*

That picture made me laugh out loud at work. :)

I've made fudge out of velveeta, so nothing culinary disturbs me anymore.

Hmmm...

You know, I just might do that with vegan hot dogs some time.
