Some of the stalls will give better deals as the Festival goes on. What day is the 29th? The last day is the best day to get deals, especially as it approaches closing. Of course, it's always a game of chicken, holding out for better prices while hoping someone else doesn't give in first and grab the one book you really wanted...

The non-book booths (maps, book accessories, kites) can be worth a look.

If they will allow it, take a wheeled small cart/suitcase with you.
