Korean food for kids?
Aug. 14th, 2002 12:16 pmI'm the preschool (3-5 year olds) snack teacher at my church on Wednesday nights. We have an international theme this quarter, and tonight's country is Korea. The lesson plan is for ramen. Logistically, this is awkward; while I can do the snack in the kitchen (instead of at the table) and nuke it, it's harder to keep the kids under control, and it's likely to be messy. Plus, as far as I can tel from goggling, it's terrifically unauthentic.
I have access to Asian grocery stores, including 99 Ranch Market, which may be the most accessible. But I don't know what to get. Can't be too spicy, and I don't think dried squid or the like would go over too well, either. I've got some really picky eaters. Suggestions?
